The Vernon BC Stake (geographical area) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints consists of twelve congregations (referred to as Wards or Branches):
Kamloops First and Second Wards,
Salmon Arm Ward,
Vernon First and Second Wards,
Kelowna First and Second Wards,
West Kelowna Ward,
Okanagan Young Single Adults (YSA) Branch,
Penticton Ward,
Osoyoos Branch,
and Merritt Branch.

open to anyone in need and to anyone willing to serve.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints provides a wide variety of programs and services to bless our members, friends, neighbors, and communities. Through simple acts of service and community outreach, we can build stronger bonds, uplift others, and invite all to experience the Gospel in Action.

Emergency Preparedness
Learn how to prepare for emergencies with the Church’s Emergency Preparedness Guide.
Addiction Recovery
Seek support and healing through the Church’s Addiction Recovery Program.
Find help with advisors through a phone call.
Food Drives
Participate in humanitarian efforts through the Church’s Humanitarian Services. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is coordinating the BC Thanksgiving food drive.
Blood Drives
Participate in humanitarian efforts through the Church’s Humanitarian Services. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is helping Canadian Blood Services with local blood drives.
World Religions Conference
Engage in interfaith dialogue and events, such as the World Religions Conference.
The World Religions Conference 2026 will be held on Sunday, September 27th, 6:30 pm. It will be held at the Okanagan College in Kelowna (details to come). At the end of the Conference, an Indian/Asian dinner will be served for free.
Light the World
Participate in the Church’s annual Christmas initiative
and make the world a brighter place through Light the World.
